About
Welcome to NAGA Street Food Grasse, a delightful culinary gem nestled in the heart of Grasse, France. Located at 94 Avenue Georges Pompidou, this vibrant eatery specializes in providing an authentic taste of Asian street food in a casual setting. With a reputation for generous portion sizes and quick service, it’s no wonder diners like Markus Lesser have showered praise, calling the offerings "super delicious."
As you step into NAGA, you're greeted by the tantalizing aroma of bold spices and fresh ingredients. The restaurant's menu features a variety of mouthwatering dishes, allowing patrons to choose their preferred protein paired with either red rice or noodles. This customization is a hit among customers, with reviews highlighting the value for money—most bowls hover around €10, which is quite reasonable for the quality and quantity offered.
One of the standout dishes (according to several patrons) is the crispy chicken, served with your choice of accompaniment. A delightful fusion of flavors, the dish captures the essence of Asian cooking while being adapted for local tastes. However, some reviewers, like “phcas” Casogn, expressed a desire for improvements in rice texture. Despite this small critique, many, including Ira Solehan, found the food immensely satisfying, particularly appreciating the big portions that characterized their meals.
An added charm is the option to enjoy your meal outdoors, making it an ideal spot for a takeaway or a relaxed dining experience al fresco style. Customers have noted the cleanliness of the eatery, ensuring a pleasant visit from start to finish. Furthermore, NAGA prides itself on its quick service, catering to those in need of a satisfying meal on the go.
While some encountered minor issues—such as a piece of eggshell in the fried egg or noodles that tasted a bit odd—the overall consensus is that NAGA Street Food Grasse excels at delivering flavorful, hearty dishes that resonate with lovers of Asian cuisine. Whether you're a local or just passing through Grasse, a visit to NAGA is a culinary journey well worth undertaking. You might just find your new favorite spot for satisfying street food!
“ A lovely little street food restaurant where you can sit (outdoors) or take away. You choose your meat and if you would like it on red rice or noodles. Each bowl was around 10€. You can ask for more sauces and they will provide it in a little bowl for you to add depending on how much you like. ”
“ Gonna be honest and say that I've only been to Cambodia once and don't really remember their cuisine. With that being said, I am from Asia, and I am super picky when it comes to Asian food, but the food here definitely tastes Asian and is super good! Big portions too! Loved loved loved it! I had the crispy chicken with red rice, my husband had the crispy chicken with noodles. We definitely recommend and will definitely come back! ”
“ Super delicious and a big portion too, can really recommend eating here ”
“ Delicious authentic food. Good size portions as well ”
“ For a takeaway place, the food is pretty good. Very generous portion, reasonable price and very fast service. My only regret is that the rice was not thoroughly cooked like in asian cooking. It remains a bit hard like risotto or paella. I will definitely come back again snd hopefully the texture of the rice will improve. ”
“ Generous portions of rice/noodles and meat of your choice. The service is quick. Tables were fairly clean. Only complaints, a little piece of eggshell in the fried egg, and noodles tasted a little weird. ”
“ Oh wow, what a gem discovered, by walking. The food is great and the guys serving it, they are very welcome. Thank you, I recommend ”
